More pics of my niece.
I can’t wait to speak to Gayle when she gets home. I am so jealous seeing pictures of other people giving Carys a cuddle when I haven’t met her yet!

Thanks to Maureen and Dennis for a fantastic night. I didn’t get any pictures as I spent most of the time in the house. It is the first time of meeting Hannah and she is just lovely and so tiny, Mark was really looking at home feeding her very impressive. It was great seeing everyone. Nice to see Freda to - we will have to come along to the beach with you next time Woody would love playing with her. See you all over the festive season at some point if not before.
Gav and I were just wanting to get a lasagne dish so went to the Designer outlet at York, as I like the cookware store. As you enter, the largest sign states ‘Guilt Free Shopping’ I am not really sure what it means by that. I mean I don’t ever feel guilty about shopping as I don’t do a lot of it. I normally go with a purpose, buy it and leave. This did not happen today - we came home with a lot more than a lasagne dish - a snowboard jacket each, a hat, 4 tops, coffee, chocolate and a few more kitchen utensils! Guilt free hmmmmm!
We went out to celebrate the newest member of our family tonight. My mum already has all the pictures on her phone to have to hand for everyone and anyone to see. Mum really is a very proud Grandparent and I know that my dad would have been just as proud and over the moon with Carys’s arrival. I can see him with the biggest smile and beaming with pride.
Carys was born this morning or this afternoon depending upon where you are in the world. Glen phoned at 03.18 this morning to let me know that I was an Auntie I can’t wait to go and visit them all. Well done Gayle for getting through such a long and difficult labour to have such a beautiful daughter. Here are a few pics of the ecstatic parents and my lovely niece!!!!
We were going to have a small fire and some sparklers tonight - it was far too cold and Woody wasn’t liking the fireworks quite as much tonight. I did make some toffee apples which were really nice but very hard to eat!
We went out to the London Bar last night yet again it was a very nice night as usual. Today we have been camera shopping with Matthew and visited Andrea, Andy and Amy who had bought some fireworks for a family display. We didn’t buy any - I don’t like fireworks. We took Woody out and the fireworks were very pretty but very loud - I was very scared so went home. Woody didn’t seem to mind!
More celebrations for me passing and being a Registered Children’s Nurse. Gavin and I were treated to a lovely meal by my mum and Keith. Thanks it was a lovely night.
