Sonia's Crazy Life

I had a very stressful morning preparing for an interview at Driffield School, the interview went well and my presentation was not too bad either! Unfortunately I didn’t get offered that job although they did say that I came second and that they would like me to consider a post that will be coming up in the near future – so fingers crossed that I will here something soon about that. We (Gavin and I) finished the day with a lovely meal with Matthew tonight at the London Bar – I really like it in there the staff are really friendly and it was a really enjoyable night!

Sunday we had another lay in, followed by a lovely breakfast and lunch. Thanks Mark and Jenny for having us it was great!

We had a lovely lay in before we all went shopping with Matthew – he willing went along with me and Jenny acting out the roles of Trinny and Suzannah! He tried on jeans and cords – and just as we thought we had cracked it there was too much chaffing! Oh well I think me and Jen will have to stick to our careers in child care! Mark has a picture of Matthew in jeans though if anyone is interested!

We then went out for tea – hmm not really sure about that one! Nothing quite looked like we expected although it all tasted nice which is the main thing, before going to meet Simon, Ross and their friends. I have to say how stunning Simon and Ross looked (Ross you have amazing legs!). We all had a great night although I really did feel small – I know I am but when people who are already six foot odd put heels on and I am just over 5ft everything changes again. I am awaiting pics from Matthew to put a few on showing the fun we had (when do you think it will be????).

We eventually arrived at Mark and Jenny’s after a very long journey to Manchester due to the amount of traffic. They had cooked us (being me Gavin and Matthew) a lovely tea which we had one or two drinks with and caught up on what had been having not seen them for a few months. All in the build up for Saturday – going out to celebrate Simon and Ross’s birthdays!

After visiting at the weekend it seems that Hannah felt she was missing out and could not wait a moment longer. Congratulations to the Bowtell Family who now have a new tiny member Hannah. Nice to see Thomas is taking his brotherly duties seriously from the start.

I went to visit Andrea and Amy last week and Andrea was looking for a hat for Amy seen as though it is starting to get that little bit colder… .here is how adorable she looks in her new hat!

We went to visit Dan, Carole and Thomas today as Carole is in hospital until Thomas’s little sister is born. Maureen and Dennis were also there looking after Dan and Thomas. Maureen made some fantastic apple pie which ate before visiting Carole. Carole look lovely so hopefully resting is helping. Then we returned to have a lovely tea made again by Maureen – Lasagne my favourite. Thomas has grown up since the last time we saw him and is really lovely little boy who’s going to make a great big brother.
